Our friends, Sunni and James tied the knot. The wedding was made truly special with beautiful hand made touches, vintage croquet sets and my favourite flowers, peonies! This lush fairytale was set on their family farm in regional NSW, amongst vast fields making it seem like we had stumbled across an oasis. A stunning day full of love, fun and friends!

Our wedding is featured in the gorgeous mag “Your Day” – Bride To Be’s annual magazine. Thanks again to our ace photographer, Adrian Tuazon. Don’t mind the idea of styling a wedding – anyone need help?! There is more wedding goodness here.

I was super lucky to be in Sydney last year when OUTPOST was on! The OUTPOST Project transformed the industrial spaces of Cockatoo Island and immersed visitors into an explosion of urban art. Local and international artists were part of the festival , including one my favourites Anthony Lister. The artwork included stencilling, paste-ups, sticker art, sculpture, t-shirts and billboards. There was even a collection of Banksy work on show. I just wonder what has happened to the art now that the festival is over?

La Macelleria is the new butcher in Bondi and will impress with its dark interior and tiled surrounds. The butchers fit into the European theme by sporting white coats and flat caps. I wonder if their moustaches are a prerequisite for working there?  This is definitely a cut above your average butcher with condiments and paninis on offer too! After a visit, you could almost cancel your trip to Italy.

White Rabbit Gallery in Sydney is a favourite of mine. With one of the largest collections of contemporary Chinese art, set in a converted former knitting factory, each visit amazes me. Even more astounding is that this is a private collection which is open to the public for free. How lucky are we!

Besides original mid-century Danish furniture Modern Times Pop – Up Shop has some beautiful finds from local designers. Here are my favourites:

Modern Times Pop-Up shop ( 260 Smith St, Collingwood ) has opened! Amy and Joel have done such an amazing job at filling the shop with drop dead gorgeous furniture, products and artwork! It is open until December 31st. Come down and see for yourself! Trust me you are going to find it hard to leave empty handed.

Patchy Rugs are in there too! Yay!

I have started a new venture!

I am selling remastered Turkish rugs that are just stunning! (If I do say so myself) The patchwork rugs have been overdyed and made by sewing patches from different rugs together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts!  The rugs are of the highest quality and no matter what your furniture or interior style, there is a rug that will bring warmth to your space. Check out our recently launched website at patchyrugs.com.au

Patchyrugs are also being stocked in Modern Times Pop-Up shop ( 260 Smith St, Collingwood ) from 9 December! Come down and see them for yourself!

Our wedding was recently featured on 100 Layer Cake! I have picked out some of my favourite images from our special day. Be sure to also check out our photographer, Adrian Tuazon. All designers are tough on themselves but I am happy to say I am still in love with these letterpress invites I designed (and still in love with my hubby 1 year later!)
